Straight Pipe Performance Tips - Thruxton 1200 R

The British Customs Straight Pipe Performance Tips replace the stock muffler with drag racing style tips that greatly improve the look and sound of your Triumph Thruxton 1200 or Thruxton R. These tips install quickly and easily behind the catalytic converter, which helps open up the deep, resonant note of the engine. They’re made from 304 stainless steel for durability, quality, and weather resistance, and will develop a rich patina that will complement the colors of the header. They’ll also help you gain some significant weight savings over the stock mufflers.

Q: Do I need to remap after I install these pipes?

A: Due to Triumph "Self Learning ECU" a Re-Map is not required. However, for additional Mapping flexibility, we recommend that you purchase and install a DynoJet Power Commander V. With this unit installed you can upload a custom MAP developed by DynoJet for our Exhaust products. These MAPs are available here.
